The only "downside" of Omnisphere is sort of it's own quality - in the sense that for the next year (couple of years) you'll be hearing Omnisphere 3 presets in TV series up and down everywhere. You can't open them directly, you run Omnisphere, and select the presets/samples etc you want from within Omnisphere.
